I Can’t Find My Latch Bar. Where Is It Located?

We designed our product using the same specifications used for securing child car seats. In 2000, the federal government(FMVSS)required that all vehicles be manufactured using latch bar anchor points. These latch bars are located inside the backseat crease of your vehicle, generally near the seat belt buckles.

 

Does The Latch Bar Seat Belt Work On The Front Seat?

No, the Latch Bar Dog Seat Belt only works in the back seat area. Options for the front seat area are the Headrest Dog Seat Belt and the Buckle Dog Seat Belt. All of our Dog Seat Belts work best in combination with our Vehicle Safety Harness.
