How to Measure Your Dog's Paws

	Place a piece of paper under one of the front paws, on a hard surface that your dog can stand on. Gently lift up the opposite front paw. This will help put the full weight on the paw that you are measuring on the paper), ensuring that the paw is fully splayed.
	To get an accurate measurement, hold the pen straight up and down. Always mark each side of the widest part of the paw. Don't forget to include the end tip of toenails.
	Now you can measure the marks left on the paper.
	Once you've marked the outer edges of his paw, simply measure the width using a ruler or tape measure. Record these measurements. If you are uncertain, repeat measurements to make sure you have been accurate.
